From grafting trees to school field trips, the farm is focused on community growth… Ok, that’s a bit of a stretch… how about this:

From Persian Green Plums to purple vested pupils, the farm was full of Ps in February…. no, that is even worse.

Anyways, lots of fun happening at the farm as always! Stop by at a potluck or at one of our March events to join in on the gardening, animal care, pottery, bike wrenching, or artsing at the farm.

Farmcycles Bike Repair Clinic

Sunday, March 16th, 12PM - 2PM

We have a bunch of new parts that were donated to Farmcycles, stop by to help us sort through them and build better systems for managing them.

As the rains let up, this is a great time to start bike commuting. Why don’t you bring your bike to Farmcycles this month for a tune up and then give it a shot one day a week?
 

Animal Care Day

Sunday, March 16th, 12PM - 2PM

Come for an animals tour and to learn about animal care at the farm.

Newcomers and returning folks are welcome, we’ll be putting new straw in the chicken laying boxes to give our laying girls a dry bed.
 

Monthly Potluck

Friday March 28th, 6PM

Join us for our monthly potluck!

Daylight will soon be saved, are you ready to enjoy some more of it at the farm? Stop by the potluck on March 28th to share some food, stories, music, and community care.

This is the best time to catch people involved at the farm and find ways to plug into existing work.

Archery with Dan!

When: Wednesdays 2:30 - 3:45 pm (Weather permitting, Holidays excluded)

Where: meet near the Barbers Point Road entrance. (Next to the chick coop.)

Who: Ages 6 through 17

Please have a permission slip signed by a parent or guardian in order to participate. no exceptions.

Permission slips can be provided by a Maker or online.

 

Our compost keeps growing, multiplying, and getting wormer! We’ll soon be offering worms for people who want them, stay tuned for more!
