Membership Committee
The purpose of the Membership Committee (MC) is to manage the membership of the Bay Area MakerFarm. In the process, our goal is to stand by the values of the Bay Area MakerFarm at large; maintaining a diverse, equitable and inclusive base of membership that is tightly connected to the local community.
Purview
The MC oversees and manages the following activities:
The Sponsor Member (renter) application and recommendation process (The MC does not approve applications; instead it makes a recommendation/proposal to send to the membership at-large to approve).
Sending out invitations to apply to become a Sponsor Member (Upon input from Facilities Committee when space becomes available)
Maintaining record of past & current Sponsor Member applications
Allocating farm space to be used by members, various farm projects, and storage (“Hoarder”) agreements.
